Editorial Policy

Editorial Policy

The Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing, editorial integrity, and research ethics. The editorial policies outlined below define the responsibilities of authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher, and are aligned with internationally accepted publishing standards.

A. Editorial Workflow

1. Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. All submissions should be written in clear, grammatically correct English and must present original, unpublished research within the scope of the journal. Authors are required to follow the prescribed manuscript template and submission guidelines. Complete submission files, including source documents and a PDF version, must be provided.

2. Preliminary Evaluation

Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening to assess:

  • Relevance to the journal’s scope
  • Academic quality and clarity
  • Compliance with ethical publishing standards

Manuscripts that are out of scope, lack scholarly merit, or show evidence of plagiarism or unethical practices may be rejected without external peer review. All submissions are screened using plagiarism-detection tools.

3. Peer Review Process

The journal follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness and objectivity. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent expert reviewers. Reviewers assess originality, methodology, technical quality, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field.

Based on reviewer recommendations, authors may be asked to revise their manuscript. The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection rests with the Editor-in-Chief, based on reviewer feedback and editorial judgment.

4. Article Processing Charges (APC)

An Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable for accepted manuscripts. The APC covers editorial handling, peer review management, publication, online hosting, and long-term archiving. Payment is required only after final acceptance. APCs are non-refundable. Detailed information is provided in the journal’s APC policy.

5. Finalization and Publication

Accepted manuscripts undergo professional copyediting to improve language quality, clarity, and formatting consistency. Authors receive page proofs for final approval and are responsible for verifying accuracy. Once approved, articles are published online and included in the journal’s scheduled issue. Authors must complete and sign the publication license agreement prior to publication.

B. Ethics and Author Responsibility

6. Ethical Policy

The journal adheres to the ethical principles and best practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All participants in the publication process—authors, reviewers, and editors—are expected to uphold standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Manuscripts must be original, properly cited, and free from plagiarism, data fabrication, or duplicate publication. Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed.

7. Authorship and Contributions

Authorship must accurately reflect significant intellectual contributions to the research. All listed authors must approve the final manuscript prior to submission. Any changes to authorship after submission (addition, removal, or reordering) require written consent from all authors and approval by the editorial office.

8. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

AI tools may be used to support language editing, coding assistance, or data processing, but they must not replace human intellectual contribution. AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors must disclose the use of AI tools in the manuscript (e.g., acknowledgements section). Undisclosed or excessive reliance on AI-generated content may result in rejection.

9. Data Availability (Optional)

Authors are encouraged to include a Data Availability Statement indicating whether data are publicly available, available upon request, or restricted due to ethical or legal reasons. Providing this statement enhances transparency and reproducibility but does not affect editorial decisions.

C. Copyright, Licensing, and Identification

10. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain the copyright of their published work. Articles are published under a Creative Commons license, permitting reuse and distribution with appropriate citation. Authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the work in all formats.

11. Preprints and Prior Publication

Manuscripts previously shared as preprints are acceptable, provided they are not under review elsewhere. Authors must disclose any preprint versions at the time of submission. When applicable, the published article should reference the preprint.

12. ORCID and Author Identification

Authors are encouraged to provide their ORCID iD to ensure accurate author identification, improve metadata quality, and enhance research visibility.

D. Post-Publication Policies

13. Withdrawal of Manuscripts

The editorial board reserves the right to withdraw manuscripts if authors fail to respond to editorial communication, do not provide required documentation, or if ethical or legal concerns arise.

14. Corrections, Retractions, and Editorial Notes

To preserve the integrity of the scholarly record, the journal may issue:

  • Corrections for minor errors
  • Retractions for serious ethical violations or invalid research
  • Editorial Notes when concerns require clarification

All post-publication notices are clearly labeled and permanently linked to the original article.
