Guidelines for Authors

Authors are required to carefully follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth review and publication process in the Journal of Information Science & Automation Systems (JISAS).

1. Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear and grammatically correct English.
  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
  • Authors must follow the official JISAS manuscript template.
  • Acceptable file formats include Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or LaTeX, along with a PDF version.
  • All figures and tables must be clearly labeled and cited appropriately in the text.

2. Article Types Accepted

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Papers
  • Technical Papers
  • Case Studies

3. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s official online submission system. During submission, authors are required to provide the following information:

  • Author details and institutional affiliations
  • Abstract and keywords
  • Conflict of interest statement
  • Ethical compliance declaration

4. Peer Review Process

  • JISAS follows a double-blind peer-review process.
  • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts.
  • Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments.
  • The final publication decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.

5. Ethics and Plagiarism

  • All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.
  • Manuscripts involving plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical practices will be rejected.
  • The journal strictly follows the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

6. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

  • AI tools may be used for language editing or technical assistance.
  • AI tools must not replace human intellectual contribution.
  • Any use of AI tools must be clearly disclosed within the manuscript.
