Author Guidelines
Guidelines for Authors
Authors are required to carefully follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth review and publication process in the Journal of Information Science & Automation Systems (JISAS).
1. Manuscript Preparation
- Manuscripts must be written in clear and grammatically correct English.
- Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
- Authors must follow the official JISAS manuscript template.
- Acceptable file formats include Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or LaTeX, along with a PDF version.
- All figures and tables must be clearly labeled and cited appropriately in the text.
2. Article Types Accepted
- Original Research Articles
- Review Papers
- Technical Papers
- Case Studies
3. Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s official online submission system. During submission, authors are required to provide the following information:
- Author details and institutional affiliations
- Abstract and keywords
- Conflict of interest statement
- Ethical compliance declaration
4. Peer Review Process
- JISAS follows a double-blind peer-review process.
- Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts.
- Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments.
- The final publication decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
5. Ethics and Plagiarism
- All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.
- Manuscripts involving plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical practices will be rejected.
- The journal strictly follows the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
6. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- AI tools may be used for language editing or technical assistance.
- AI tools must not replace human intellectual contribution.
- Any use of AI tools must be clearly disclosed within the manuscript.
